Mr. Jerry Wayne Powell, Jr.

Jerry Wayne Powell, Jr, age 50 of Foxworth, MS passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. Jerry Wayne was a lifelong resident of Marion County. He enjoyed traveling, flea markets and collecting antiques; but, his greatest enjoyment came from his grandchildren. Jerry Wayne will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to talk to anyone as he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Powell, Sr. Jerry Wayne is survived by his wife, Martha Powell; a daughter, Shana Forbes and her husband Hunter; a son, Chaz Powell and his wife Lindsey; his mother, Brenda Powell; a brother, Christopher Powell and his wife Suzanne; five grandchildren, Hagen Forbes, Cooper Powell, Gunner Forbes, Chloe Powell, Collins Powell; a nephew, Brandon Temple and his wife Courtney; and a great-nephew, Wesson Temple.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00am where friends may visit one hour prior to the service all at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia.
