James M. "Jamie" Crump

James M. “Jamie” Crump, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the age of 50. He was born in Columbia and has remained a lifelong resident of Marion County. Jamie worked offshore as a pipeline welder in the oil and gas industry. When not working, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas J. Crump, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Louis and Irene Alexander; and his mother, Carolyn Crump. Jamie is survived by a daughter, Jayden B. Lee (Braxton); two sons, Jasper Crump and Jaxson Crump; his father, Tommy Crump, Jr.; a sister, Amanda Lambert (Randall); three grandchildren, Easton Lee, Karter Lee, and Caroline Lee; his companion, Tiffany Crump and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation for Jamie at Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 1:00pm until 2:30pm. The funeral service will follow at the graveside in Richland Creek Cemetery at 3:00pm where he will be laid to rest.
