David L Holmes

Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Holmes; son, David Holmes; and parents, Leroy “Roy” Holmes and Gladys Elise Guest Holmes. Survivors include his daughters, Angelia Thornhill (Carey) of Morgantown, MS, and Adrienne Beach (Jason) of Kokomo; a son, Justin Holmes (Justine) of Kokomo; two sisters, Sharron King of Pascagoula, MS, and Rhonda Sorrell (LaVern) of Columbia; a brother, Tim Holmes (Wanda) of Columbia; and six grandchildren, Layken Carney, Jayden Forbes, Daniel Beach, Gavin Forbes, Dylan Beach, and Devin Beach.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Denny Felts. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery assisted by Kris Sorrell, Shane Sorrell, Brandon Holmes, Justin Holmes, Shane Kellum, and Josh Thornhill as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be LaVern Sorrell, Wayne Thornhill, Justin Bates, and Kevin Thomasee.
