Patsy Ann Lowe

Patsy Ann Lowe, 78, of Columbia, MO passed away Monday, May 9th in Columbia. As per her wishes, no services will be held.

Patsy was born May 29, 1943 in Pink, OK to James and Addie Stapp Eubank. She graduated from East Central University, Ada Oklahoma and was recruited to work for the Social Security Administration in Kansas City. She met Christopher Lowe as his blind date for a wedding and reception around Thanksgiving of 1966. They were married on December 31, 1966 in Las Vegas. She and Chris lived in Camarillo, CA following their marriage where Patsy worked for the Department of the Navy. She and Chris moved to Columbia, MO in 1974 when Chris was transferred with General Telephone Company.

Upon moving to Columbia Patsy worked for Planned Parenthood until they moved to Grinnell, IA where she resumed working for the Social Security Administration. She and Chris then moved to Rockwell City, IO, Columbus NE and later Kearney, NE before returning to Columbia, MO in 2006. Patsy enjoyed her many trips to the Oregon coast and many national parks. Her favorite was Glacier National Park where she saw her first grizzly bear. Patsy and Chris visited numerous historical sites, museums, and libraries where she spent many hours researching the family histories of their friends and families. Her passion when not busy with her many other interests was reading Mysteries.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Chris Lowe; two brothers, Larry (Jackie) Eubank of Shawnee, OK, James (Linda) Eubank of Plano, TX; and her beloved Australian Shepherd, Chip. She was preceded in death by the parents, a brother; Charles Eubank, and a sister; Geraldine.
