John "Johnny" Benjamin Johnson

Johnny B. Johnson,66, of Columbia, passed away August 3, 2014 at Boone Hospital. Service will be on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Johnny was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. He is retired from the University of Missouri after 35 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, sports, traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Sarah Tabe, John Johnson and Kimberly, husband, Vonzell Kelley; one brother, Fred Johnson and friend, Sarah Miller; sister-in-law, Allean Johnson; grandchildren, Anastacia Carter, Kimberly Tabe, DeOntay Counce, JonDale Johnson, Marquail Johnson, Zana Churchill Johnson, RaZhon Churchill Johnson, DaJha Kelley, Vonzell Kelley III, Shayquila Heath and Arious Heath; great-grandchildren, Charles Carter III and Amauri Coleman; his special friend, Ethel Brown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
