David Randal Malorin, 47 of Columbia passed away Friday, September 3, 2021. Friends will gather from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. for a time of Remembrance & Sharing, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. the family will receive condolences from the community Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. David was born in Augsburg, Germany on February 11, 1974 the son of Randal and Mary Lois (Heuerman) Malorin. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife. On June 27, 1999 he was united in marriage to Ashley Brooke (Rafiner) Malorin. David was employed by the Department of Natural Resources as an Air Quality Specialist. David enjoyed biking, exercising, climbing, running, camping, floating, building Legos with his children and playing Frisbee golf with his friends.
David is survived by his wife: Ashley; their children: Scout Rafiner Malorin; Gustav David Rafiner Malorin; Oskar David Malorin; Tom William Rafiner Malorin; his mother: Mary Lois Lusk; his siblings: Michael Christopher Malorin; Robert (Shannon) Lusk; Joe (Darcy) Lusk; Trudy (Al) Yoder; two sister in laws: Tiffany (Rafiner) and Chris Owens; Whitney (Rafiner) and Dan Vander Weit; his in laws: Nancy and Tom Rafiner and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his biological father: Randal Malorin. David was preceded in death by the father who raised him: Bennie Lusk.
