David Andrew Brouder, age 52, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was born on December 17, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois to Dr. Gerald and Bonnie (Hebel) Brouder. David grew up in the Catholic faith and attended Columbia Catholic School before graduating from Hickman High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Missouri. On March 11, 2017, David married his beloved wife, Paulina (Petterson).
David was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchild. His charismatic personality was truly captivating; he had a unique ability to fill a room with laughter and he charmed any audience with his exceptional storytelling skills. David's memory will be forever treasured by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
David is survived by his wife, Paulina, their children: Bella and Lars Perkins, Mike, Andy, and Allie Brouder, and Jennifer Brouder, mother of Mike, Andy, and Allie. Also mourning his loss are David's mother, his brother Matt (Pam) Brouder, and his grandson Finn Brouder. David was preceded in death by his father.
A visitation for David will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Columbia, Missouri, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery following Mass.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fr. Tolton Catholic High School or Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri in care of Memorial Funeral Home.
