I miss you every day buddy. I think about your constantly. You were like a brother to me. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years. I wish you were here with me still. I wish I could have came to you for help so many times. Man I miss you bud. You were my best friend.

Scott, on your birthday i sat around for years looking at photos, watching you and Sean videos and reading  your writings that I kept. it  brings so many wonderful memories.  I visit your space and i brought the space next  to you. Samson died of cancer in 2016 and his ashes  sit on my desk.  love dad

Scott, I am still loving you and missing you very much....guess I always will.  You were/are one of the finest people I know and will ever know.  You enjoyed life so much, could laugh at yourself, honest and kind and loving to so many people.  I know you had struggles and pain in life, as all do, and I know they are erased in heaven by God's love.  I don't think you had any idea how many people whose hearts and minds you touched.  If you were looking down from heaven at your funeral, I know you would have been astounded ... at the police escort, the # of people who came to the funeral home, including people you had no idea you inspired them or touched them with kindness and the generosity of your spirit.  I can just see a look of wonder in your beautiful eyes, and, after a while, after you took in who was there, what they were saying, thinking, feeling,
there would be a huge grin on your face.  To you, perhaps you didn't think you were special to others...you were just "you" -
a very genuine and loving person.  That love showed itself transparently to people of all ages, races, all walks of life. Your spirit had learned before age 22 what 
it takes to be an open, loving person whose kindness, self-honesty, humor surpassed that of most adults (and some never learn how to be that way).  I love you with all my heart, forever. 
  
Please watch over all your family and friends, especially your new little newphew and your brother's wife, your mother and father and your girlfriend.
We miss you especially at family gatherings - even Nana with Alztheimers often asks about you.  I told her a couple days ago that you are still busy and out of the country with the Marines.  She does not know and hopefully will not know until you greet her in heaven.  It would crush her, especially with the limitations and emotional struggles caused by Alztheimers.  So, you are further away than "out of the country," busy in God's Marine Corps, so we are not really lying, just trying to protect her.  Oh, sorry you missed my wedding.  You would have loved seeing David put some wedding cake on my face!

Scott Jason, I am now 66 and you still live with me every day when I do things. You have given me memory to live with as I  grow up to live to reach 100. I like other parents dream that you could be growing up with me.

I woke up this morning and my first thought was of Scott, then of his parents, Walter and Lisa, and his brother Sean. I thought of his playing with my boys when they were so very young, and then the last time I saw him...a respectful and handsome young man, raring to move into the future he was happily building. He must be watching over all his family and friends, reminding them what they can accomplish while enjoying every minute. Thank you, Scott! Love to his family. Always your neighbor and friend.

i am still depress over my son. scott was me and i was scott.we could talk trash and drink beer on our deck. we  share much, and i am lost without him. i don't know how to feel anymore. i am a speed boat without the power.

Scott, you are missed and in my thoughts every day.

Staring at this blank space to write something.  Wishing you were here to comment on what good physical shape you are in, how proud I am of you, do a little tai chi with, and then work on any aches and pain you might have with yoga and myofascial release.  And then get a lesson on using the newest cell phones.

Scott was a special young man, and I was very saddened when my wife and I heard of his passing.  Scott wrestled on the same Varsity Wrestling team as my son, and usually followed my son when he was coming off the matt, (Scott was one weight calss higher) He was always there to congratulate him on a match won, or a comfort him on a crushing defeat.  One thing that I always noticed of Scott, was he never wasted time during tournaments, I would see him diving into his books, and get some studying done, as these tournaments would last all day for two days.  
I also recall when he told me he was going into the USMC....I was scared and proud of him.  I only knew Scott through my sons sports teams, but I always was impressed with his initiative, respect, and overall stature as a fine young man.  Thank you for your service to our country Scott, and to his surviving friends and relatives, may your hearts heal... eventually.  I cannot imagine the sorrow you feel now, and will continue to feel, I can only hope that the good times, and the pride you must feel for raising such a fine man will help ease the pain.

I did not know Scott but from everything I have read about him he seemed like a fine young man.  My condolences and prayers are with your family.

I had just met Scott this semester, he sat next to me in Accounting.  However, his outgoing personality and love of life made it seem like we had been friends for years.  He truly is a wonderful person.

I only recently met Scott in class at HCC and was planning to run the marine corps marathon with him. He was proud to be a marine and was a very nice person who will be missed. I am truly sorry for his families lose.
