Neil and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to K-12 together and we also become Terrapin alumns as well.  I have fond memories of Neil as an intellect in school, a brave boy scout and a fun loving guy who desired adventure.  We had a great conversation at our High School reunion less than 2 year ago.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Gray family.  God Bless.

I learned of Neil's passing today.  He lived on the same street in College Park, Maryland and we went to elementary and high school together.  He was also in my Cub Scout Troop.  Very sad to see this.  Rest in peace Neil..........Signed, Bob Rose.


I knew Neil for many years as we were both transportation advocates and fathers.  I remember him as a knowledgeable transportation professional and a good natured and upbeat human being.  Neil will be missed by his family and friends.

I worked with Neil in the transportation industry for over 30 years.  He was always such a thoughtful and knowledgeable person who was always willing to share information and ideas.  I also worked with Neil as a board member of the Road Gang.  Every year I made a point to bid on the delicious traditional Scottish shortbread that he donated to our holiday party charity auction!  He will be missed. 


Neil was a kind man with a good heart.  It was an honor to have him  as my brother in law through marriage to his late brother, Ian.
Neil will be missed by all who knew him.

Neil Gray was one of the finest men I have known.  He was a great friend and one I will never forget.   His passing leaves a deep hole in my heart.  I am blessed to have known him and will treasure the memories.

I got to know Neil through the Road Gang.  Neil would share with me stories from the past when his Dad ran the National Asphalt Pavement Association and Neil worked their for a time.  I always felt welcomed in Neil's presence and I enjoyed his colorful stories of NAPA in the "old days."  Neil made me feel good when I was around him.  I will miss him, especially when the Road Gang has their annual Christmas fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House and he is not there to explain the history behind the Russian champagne that is up for auction every year.   It is an amazing story.   Thank you Neil for the joy you brought to the Road Gang and to me personally.      

Completely saddened to hear this heartbreaking news. Neil was such a respected individual for his work. He was also a very witty & fun loving friend. He will be so very missed. My sincere & deepest condolences to his family. He was a great man. 

My thoughts and prayers are with Neil's family.  He was a "good guy", the type of person this world needs more of.
