John (Johnny) T. Rynn III, age 22, passed away suddenly Friday July 17, 2020. Beloved son of Amy Greer and John T. Rynn, Jr. he is survived by sister Makenzie Rynn, brother Tyler Greer, stepmother Angela Rynn, grandparents John T. Rynn Sr, & Joanne Rynn and Sandy Greer along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased in death by his grandfather John Greer.
Johnny grew up in Columbia, MD and graduated from Oakland Mills Highschool where he was a star wrestler, winning 3 Howard County Championships during his high school career before attending Towson University. Johnny was adventurous with a passion for fishing. Even after a long workday he would grab his rod and reel heading to one of his favorite fishing spots.
Johnny was one of a kind. His goofiness was unmatched. He was unapologetically himself. He radiated joy and laughter. His charismatic spirit made him the star of the show since the day he was born.

Funeral Services for immediate family will be held Friday August 14th at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 where flowers and donations in Johnny’s name can be accepted. A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 15th from 12pm- 3pm at The Bell Residence, 7942 Harriet Tubman Lane, Columbia, MD 21044. We are in the process of establishing a wrestling scholarship in Johnny’s name and hope to pass the details along soon. Please note that at both services facemasks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be enforced due to Covid-19.
