On March 15, 2012 Charles Clayton Diggs, loving husband of the late Helen M. Diggs. Father of Elaine M. Diggs, and the late Charles C. Diggs Jr. Grandfather of Kathryn D. Meyers, Christopher C. Diggs, and Cameron C. Diggs. Great-grandfather of Charleigh Meyers and Piper Meyers. Uncle of Dottie Yorke, Bill Stein, and C. Van Roby. Also survived by his grandchildren’s mother Jayne C. Diggs.
Family will receive friends at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Rd. Columbia, MD 21045 on Monday from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Tuesday at 11am. A reception will follow until 1pm at church. Interment will be at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charles C. Diggs Scholarship Fund, Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering.
