I miss those days. Grandpa with his grandkids and great grandkids

My heart was broken this day goodbye to dad‘s house.

Our last day at the house that we grew up in. We always had a place and the door open for us. Thanks to Dad.

Dad coming to my house to visit while I was cutting Elder Fletcher’s hair. Oh how I miss.

Rest In Peace Mr. Delgado.  I didn’t know that you had passed away.  We grew up the street from you.  We went to school with your kids & sometimes we would ride are bikes to your house and hang out.  I use to see you at the Donut Shop every now & then.  You always greeted me with a smile.  God Bless you.

You will be Miss Grandpa, A golden heart stop beating. God broke our heart, to prove he only takes the best. Your memories will be in our hearts forever love you.

The grandkids are going to miss their grandpa pinching their cheeks or pulling their ears.

I remember the day you came to see our new place in Las Vegas. You where so tired and feel asleep on the couch. I love you and tomorrow is going to be one of the hardest days of my life. 

A memory I have with my dad is when I was four years old. I loved when he used to take me to preschool on his motorcycle on the gas tank. Another memory is it was a Christmas Day. My dad had bought me a bike and he was letting me put the bike together all by myself. After a while he showed me how to put the bike together. I was putting the handlebars backwards. I love my dad I am going to miss him. I also am thankful that I had him all these years in church.  He taught me how to swim by  throwing me in the pool. My grandmother would be having a fit. But I learned how to swim at 4 years old. My dad taught all of us to be tough if we hurt ourselves. Or if we wanted something he would tell us to go jump in the lake. Another memory is I was seven and I broke my arm falling off the swing set. So I had a cast  put on my arm then my Dad decided . When it was time for that cast to come off, he cut it off himself. My dad was a very strong and a tough dad. When he broke his back I remember as a child the doctors said he would never be able to walk again. But knowing my dad he was crawling then and walking.again. I was having electrical problems. At the barber shop so my dad came to fix the electrical problem there was a breaker that blew up on him . Popping real loud  ascending Sparks , my dad took two steps back , and went back at it.  Not even electricity could drop him .  It just startled him an an he finish off the job. When my dad started coming to church . He had taken my two little sisters to school Sonia and Marisol that morning. When he came to pick them up , he just came from getting a haircut at a barbershop. They did not recognize him they would not get in the car until he said , get in the car you brats. I love you Dad for caring for giving and being you you. 

Tomorrow we lay you to rest,  I will not say goodbye, you will be with me always. So I will say "Rest Dad, you are not in pain or bored any more. You can be at peace and know that I will be fine. Thanks for everything, I love you Dad ."

May I give my condolences to the family that I know....Candy, Marisol, Sonia, Vicente, Genista, etc. My heart goes out to you in your loss. He was a very special man to me growing up. Always there to help my family. The special things he would make when he had us on his heart, will be cherished. I loved when someone was in bad mood he would just break out singing one line to a song, “ Oh, Happy Day.”  He will be missed. 🤍

Sonia, may you,  .... your brother .   sisters and  entire family find comfort for the loss of your dad.

Best memory I have of Vic is about a week before he passed I went to asked him if he wanted another taco,and he says are you trying to make me fat, I laughed and then he told me to seat down we need to talk. We had a good talk there was some personal things we talked about and there were promises had to be made. That day I know how much that man really meant to me ,and I knew I just wasn’t Patty’s Patient any more. Love you Vic and I miss you a lot. And don’t worry I will do what I promised.

Grandpa wasn’t a fan of walking down the aisle and talked and joked the whole way down :)

Memories of you, I have a lifetime of. Times before the step monster left, before you found the church. Times when my brother was still here.  I have so many memories of you. Here is one of my weddings, yes I know the decisions I make. But you came and walked me down the aisle. You were happy for me. Even though this is my third one. Good thoughts, good memories. I love you Dad

You have always been there for me , always. You have taught me how to be strong, and that life isn't always what you want it to be. When I was younger you kept me safe, made sure I was happy. You even tried to prepare me for this day. You have taught me so many things in my life. When I was 18 you gave me  my independence, you said to me " you know right from wrong, you need to learn the effect of  decisions you make." That was the last day you treated me like a kid. Even though I've made bad decisions, you were always there. You are my foundation, and I will carry you with me all the rest of my days. I will always miss you and remember what you taught me.

He taught me how to ride a bike, How to whistle with pursed lips, and through clenched teeth. He taught me how to climb a tree the right way, He was my big brother. As we got older, visits would bring up remembrances. Debates about who loved Jesus more, Now I know. God used him to teach me about forgiveness, and how to cherish. I'm so grateful for those porch visits.

Mr. Delgado, I know you will be terribly  missed bye your familia. I will miss seeing your big smile at Mariah’s birthday parties.  I always saw you as a very loving and supportive Father to Marisol, and also as a loving Grandfather to her daughters. You are truly Home now , with your father God. 🙏🏻💔

The day I got married and we sat around making funny faces for the pictures before you walked me down the isle. You drove all the way to Vegas and then to Oregon to be with me in that day. I love you and you will always be my hero! RIP 

I used to love when you would come and visit us in Las Vegas the kids would always love it cause we would go eat and take up half the restaurant 🤣 

I miss you Dad. Here’s a memory. On your Birthday a few years back we took you to Farrell’s Ice Cream Palour. When we were kids you would always take us for a fun day out.
It was your day and I will never forget when they came to our table to sing Happy Birthday to you. You couldn’t stop laughing and the whole room was clapping for you. It stemmed like song went on forever. Happy times❤️
