Robert was my big brother. I was taken into the Miller family as a baby. We were 10 years apart in age, but I remember so many good times. Sometimes at night we would turn off all the lights in the long hallway and then crawl around. He used to like to scare me by turning around and rolling up his eyes to show just the whites.  He protected me. I fell off my bike one time at the park and came home all sandy and dirty crying. While mom was washing me off he came in and held up his fists dancing around like a boxer and said he was gonna go get them. But after finding out I just fell he walked to the park and got my bike and brought it home. . We both had play houses in the backyard, and I remember when I was playing in mine with my friends, he and HIS friends would come and shake and bang on my horse trying to scare us. Big brother shenanigans. He loves animals. I remember the snakes, horned toads, and monkey. And oh… the tad poles. We used to go someplace and get them and out them in a tub and watch them turn into frogs. One time I took a jar full to school and accidentally dropped it in the way home. I thought he was gonna be mad at me. But he wasn’t. The trips to Disneyland, Knotts. And then Sometimes on the weekends we would get together with our cousin, Ron and his parents and go out to a steak house.  I’ll miss his advise. Although we really haven’t seen each other in a long time, we would keep in touch by phone, and those conversations would last a long time. Robert ALWAYS made me laugh. I’ll miss those talks. I’ll miss my big brother. . RIP. Love you, Val

Bob and I have been close since the day I came home from the hospital when I was born. He was my cousin. He took me fishing a couple of times. He frequented my family's home to play board games and after telling his mom (my aunt Liscetta) that he was going to cruise Hollywood Blvd. We have been apart geographically as adults but stayed in close contact. My wife and I will miss him terribly, and send Toni and Jim our love.
