Phyllis Kay Hodges, age 77, of Yucaipa, California was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, September 27, 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Hodges and son, Troy (Gay Lynn) Hodges; her sisters Coy Kepner, Leta Jordan, Joy Adair, and Linda Strait; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and an abundance of close family and friends. Her husband, Roy Duane Hodges and both of her parents preceded her in death.
Phyllis was born an identical twin on August 30, 1944 in Kingsburg, California to Milton Amos Brown and Bessie May Comley Brown. She spent most of her life in California, graduating from Upland High School in 1962. She married Roy Duane Hodges on January 27, 1962. The couple raised their two children and built a life together throughout their 44 years of marriage. In her free time Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her sisters, scrapbooking, investing in the lives of her children and grandchildren, and fellowshipping with her church family.
Whether it was family or friends, Phyllis loved others extravagantly and sacrificially. She was a kind, generous woman that will be missed by many.
