Melvin Truman Wells Sr. was born on May 9th 1946 to the loving parents: Eddie Wells and Thelma E. Graham in the county of Solano, city of Vallejo California.
Melvin’s Father and Mother preceded him in death also four siblings: Matthew, Thomas, Eddie, and Thelma and significant others grandson Brittin and Mother Annie. Melvin was the fourth child of nine children. He leaves behind his significant other Mary Walker, his two Sons: Kevin and Melvin Jr. His Sisters: Abi, Dalila, and Terry, His Brother: Lawrence Grandchildren: Melvin III, Maurcus, Kevin Wells/Bennett, significant other daughter and son: Ann and Dedric, granddaughter Breona and grandson Izaya, and a host of family and friends.
Melvin served three years in the Army entered Active Duty on October 1966. He was deployed to the Vietnam War and released in October 1969 with a honorable discharge. Melvin had a heart of gold, whomever he came into contact with enjoyed his wisdom and knowledge of life.
He worked for US Vets since March 23, 2001 for nineteen years as a Veterans Service Assistant. He was loved dearly.
