Maria  loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along the paths that our lives took, taught us that there is nothing we can't make it through to hold our faith and follow our hearts. She gave us her all and asked nothing in return.

She gave us all the stepping stones in life to become the people we are today, and through it all she stood proud of us all. Her family (husband, children and grandchildren) meant everything in the world to her.

It will be hard on us to let her go physically, but we carry her with us each and everyday in our hearts and our thoughts. The sun rising will remind us of the warmth of her love. Flowers blooming will remind us of her love for life. Our trials and tribulations will remind us of how strong willed she was. There's a part of her in each and every person that hears or reads this and we can all be so honored that she was a part of our lives.

We will always love you Maria , we will Carrie you with us each day in our hearts. We will mourn our loss but rejoice that you are in a better place ....

I am not ready to accept that you are gone. My heart aches to hold your hand one more time, to hug you, to feel your warm embrace, to hear your soft spoken words, to hear your sweet giggles and to see that beautiful smile of yours!!! You were so courageous, you NEVER not once complained. You took the pain and suffering for us... "whatever it takes to have one more day" you would say. You were so genuine and your unconditional LOVE was a gift to everyone who crossed your path. You were the 💎 JEWEL of this family!!! I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to be by your side, you were such a warrior and by far the most fearless....because of your courage you have paved the way and open doors for others to receive new innovative treatment; (something I don't think most people know about you). You overcame so many odds and through it all you continued to praise God! Your faith never waivered. What a mighty woman of God you are!

Today ~June 21st~ is the 1st day of Summer. It is the "beginning of a New Season". It is officially the longest day of the year; there will be more sunlight than ever....... I believe because you are with our maker in Heaven, shining down on us.

Mama Yanez was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! She was definitely a force to reckoned with! She was short, but mighty...with such a big heart. She LOVES her Family to no end, and even the ones that she just happens upon...like Me. Nothing would get past her, and sometimes quite literally! Anytime we left the house she was right there to say "Bye", and ALWAYS  offer a Blessing before we left. It never mattered that I wasn't blood...She cared and therefore it was an endearing must!  I had been away for a couple of years, but when I came around again she made it feel like those years never existed. We would sit on the couch and exchange recent events and stories...the same as always. For Mother's Day I had to be sure that her gift was Special, because she is incredibly SPECIAL to me. That was the last day that I saw Mama Yanez on this earth. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to Know, to be Inspired by, and to LOVE such an incredibly Strong and Caring Woman. She will most definitely be missed, but NEVER forgotten! Te Quiero Mucho Mama Yanez!!!

We loved Maria.  We were very luck to know her for one 30 years.  I will always remember her smile.  We will miss her


i will miss my beloved friend Maria so much , all my family loved  her  from the first day we met  30 years ago when we coached David in little League .  I thought  what wonderful loving  beautiful mother  she was.  As the years went by , she  never changed  she   remained   lovely and  giving  . She had an inner beauty  of a  loving giving heart and she glowed   with  that beauty .  she raise d her children with love and respect  and they are  wonderful  children  .  I am so  fortunate to have known Maria , she will always remain in my thoughts and in my heart  .  

Her loving smile  and kindness will live on in my childhood memories for as long as I live. Knowing she is finally at peace brings me relief from the immense pain. I love you tia. 

Maria was a wondetful person, great daughter, dedicated housewife,loving mother and  also grand mother.  Maria as a friend went always avobe and beyond any expectation,  she was faithful, honest, sweet.  She  treated people with respect, with compasion and with courtesy.  Maria will always be  in my heart and  in the memory of my family.

We Love and Miss you Dearly, your presence is gone physically but you live in our hearts forever. Since the day I met her, I felt her genuine love, she never changed her way of caring and loving ways.  I always felt her unconditional love and felt her support on the ventures we took. With enthusiasm she stood by us when we formed our little family and Became Young Adults, she always told us how proud she was of us. Especially her hijo Javiersito she named JB. She never failed to call my daughters every year on their  Birthdays. We will miss her calls for every  Holiday... We will miss your sweet voice and loving  ways,  We will forever cherish those lovely times we spent together and unique ways of loving us ...Te Quiermos Mucho Maria Para Siempre 💐🙏🏻


My memory of my Aunt Maria is she always treated me with Love and respect.  I always called her Mami  by accident and she always said " its okay mija you can call me mami" I always laughed and wander why always called her mami i guess it was because i felt her pure love.  R.I.P Mami Maria
