Irma will be dearly missed by all as a loving, wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Irma is survived by her husband Charles Stephens, sons Johnny and Rudy, daughter Angela, and grandchildren Danielle, Wesley, Nick, Monica, Sarina and Michael, and great-grandchildren Gracie, Gabie, Genna and Daniel, and sisters Corine and Bernice, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in life by her parents Bernardo and Belen and sister Delia.
Irma was very proud of all of her grandchildren and enjoyed the Christmas holidays with them all. We will cherish and carry on her traditions and have endless fond memories of her beautiful life and loved filled moments. She loved talking to everyone and loved sharing stories from her past. She had a bright, welcoming and loving personality, you could feel her love just by being in her presence. Irma had her deep love for family, gardening, Chinese food and especially Christmas elves. Every Christmas Grandma’s main wish was having a picture taken with all her grandbabies in front of her beautifully decorated Christmas tree. She was also known for giving out her Christmas oatmeal pies to her family and friends every year. She loved having a bowl of Chinese noodles especially with her sissies.
Irma was always the most supportive for her family and friends. She was a hard worker and never gave up on anything. Irma brought warmth to everyone’s heart with her home-cooked meals, and warm home. We are beyond blessed with all the memories we will hold forever in our hearts, may we all make you proud. We will love you forever and always our little angel. Irma will be deeply missed as she was the heart and soul of our family.
Graveside services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park on May 10, 2021 at 11 am. The family will hold a reception immediately following at the Elks Lodge in San Bernardino.
