Emelda L. Johnson was born August 6, 1927 in Trinidad and Tobago West Indies. She was married for nineteen years to John Johnson a builder contractor, architect, draftsmen and a professional musician that played the saxophone.
They had nine children, Arden (deceased), Ken, Judith, Trevor, Jennifer, Janet, Peter, Pat and Dianne.
She leaves eight children, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was Mother-in-Law to Betty, Richard, Dorothy and Martha.
Grandchildren: Edgar, Andrea, Pernell, Tarlisha, Karina, Jerel, Sean, Devon, Anthony, Christopher, Jacinda, Joel and Shawn.
She continuously showed her unconditional love and shared her strong Catholic faith with her family and friends. She enjoyed gathering family and friends around her and loving each one in her own very special way. She celebrated special occasions with roses and wine.
She enjoyed baking, sewing, decorating, reading and liked traveling. She encourages you to do the same.
Emelda was grateful for her tremendous blessings. I hope that we would continue to be caring, forgiving and loving, keeping her values.
