On March 7th 2022, Our beloved Deborah (Debbie) DeLeon, age 59, entered her final resting place with the Lord. She has joined her high school sweetheart and beloved husband Tracy DeLeon and loving father Marcos Ramirez in a new life preparing the entrance for others.
Deborah was raised in Loma Linda and graduated from Redlands High School in 1980. She was active in cheerleading and pep squad also enjoying long distance running. Following high school, she started her career in banking and later transitioned to the University of Redlands where she helped and supported incoming and graduating students for 25 years. During which time, she earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees while raising her two children.
Deborah was known for her kindness, big heart and giving personality. She volunteered at AJ’s Soup Kitchen, Relay for Life (Redlands chapter), as well as Habitat for Humanity. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She loved music and dancing through life, by attending many concerts.
Her death was sudden but she was a strong fighter till the end. Many people will miss her caring nature and live of life. Both adults and children would enjoy her company, conversation and corky personality. Deborah was generous in giving her time and support to other’s needs.
She is survived by her mother Carmen Ramirez, Children Anthony DeLeon (Debra) and Jacqueline DeLeon, grandchildren Leilah and A.J., Sister Sandra Edson (Kevin), Brother Mark Ramirez, Nephews and Nieces. Visitation will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Cemetery on Monday April 18, 2022 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 19th 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 115 W. Olive Ave., Redlands. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park and Cemetery, 3520 East Washington St., Colton.
