Cynthia Marie Bacon Covington was born March 28, 1935, in Houston, Texas to loving parents – Leslie and Margaret Bacon. She passed from God’s world into eternity on April 4, 2023. Midst 9 siblings, Cynthia was a gift of God to a wanting world. Her family was indeed underprivileged, but blessed secularly due especially to her Saintly mother, Margaret, who cherished the importance of being rich in faith over being financially wealthy. Likewise, Cynthia manifested this noble characteristic in all walks of life; her faith as a Catholic, as a JCPenny Company salesperson for many years, and midst relatives and friends. To many, she was known as Mom. Having just a high school education, almighty God gifted her with sanctifying demeanor excelling the highest achievements of academia. For all who knew Cynthia, her proverb was, “I love you, and there’s nothing you can do about it!” To the living, she was a manifestation that God is alive.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Robert Covington; her daughter Pamela Covington; and her son Michael Covington; her brother Anthony Bacon.
