On January 1, 2021 our family woke up to the devastating call that our son, brother, husband, father and friend , Carlos Juan Dioso Morton, Jr. was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Lydia, son, Carlos III, father, Carlos Sr., brother, Donnie, sisters, Yolie, Marlene Darlene. Nephews, Donnie Jr, Tony, Dario, Beto, Gabriel, Dorian, Fernando and Sammy. Nieces, Jazmin and Aaliyah in addition to 7 great nephews and great nieces. Immediately proceeding Carlos’ departure was his mother, Sylvia E Morton.
Carlos was born in Loma Linda, raised in San Bernardino prior to moving to Riverside with his family in 1996. Although Carlos’ journey on earth was not long, he has touched the lives of many. He was active in sports as a boy, a coordinator in the party scene as young man. Carlos met his wife Lydia when they were young and married in 1999 with the love and support of their friends and family. He began a towing business with his father, Carlos Sr.
Carlos enjoyed all that this life has to offer. He was dedicated to his family and would move mountains for any of them. Carlos was a strong godly man, who would share his faith with everyone. Carlos attended Elevated Life Church. Carlos stated his biggest treasure is life is being the best daddy to his amazing son, Carlitos. Carlos often said” he was not a wealthy man but was blessed with family. He couldn’t ask for more”.
Carlos is a member of Viejitos Car Club establish in 1986. You could always find Carlos working on classic cars with his Dad and nephews. He always said lowriding is a lifestyle, not a hobby. Always ready to go cruise the Boulevard with his family by his side.
Carlos was proud of his Boriqua and Southern California Native American, Cahuilla heritage.
Carlos was a man of many talents and skills prior to settling into his career as an Authorization Coordinator at Parkview Community Hospital for many years prior to accepting a position at Prospect Medical where he worked diligently until he caught Covid19.
Services for Carlos will be at 1:00pm on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, Valley View Tent and will be laid to rest thereafter both at 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA 92324.
Carlos, (Daddy/Hubby/JJ/Nino) your family would like to thank you for all the beautiful memories, love, support, tons of laughs and especially the joy you brought us. We love you and miss you dearly. We hold a special place in our hearts for you and one day we will be reunited with you in Heaven.
