Billie Doris (Toombs) Keelin of Colton passed June 1, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Billie was born on March 11, 1926 in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma. Her family relocated to New Mexico where she married Thomas in 1945. Billie spent the first years of marriage raising children along the Southern Pacific Railroad following her husband to work locations in the western states. Upon settlin in Colton, she went to college and spent decades working as an Instructional Aide for the Colton Unified School District and San Bernardino City Schools.
Billie is preceded in death by husband Tom, daughter Linda, sons Gary, Keith and Jerry, granddaughter Dustine J. and grandson Gary Jr. She is survived by children Lori, Wesley and Craig. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Billie will always be remembered for her unwavering love for her family.
