Verna Marie Irwin

Verna Marie Irwin, 82, of Colorado Springs passed away March 19, 2016. She was born on September 19, 1933 in Colorado Springs, CO. and resided there for 73 years. She was a homemaker and also helped take care of several of the neighborhood children in her Colorado Springs community. She was a devoted wife of 57 years to her late husband Leonard, a wonderful Mother and a loving Grandmother. Since 2006 she and her late husband resided with her son and family in both Las Vegas and Ohio. Verna is survived by her son Lynn and 3 granddaughters of Las Vegas, NV; sister Karen of Colorado Springs, CO., brother David of Salem, OR., brother Paul of Billings, MT. and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, March 25th from 4:30-7p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Rd., Colorado Springs, CO. Service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2:00 p.m. at Vista Grande Church of God, 4870 Flintridge Drive. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
