Sharon Rose Krablean, of Colorado Springs, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at her home. She was 76 years old. She was born on November 8, 1946 in White Lake, a daughter of Vernon and Veronica (Darinski) Shannon. She married John Krablean in March of 1973 at St. Patrick’s Church in Menasha, Wisconsin.
She grew up in White Lake, Wisconsin where she developed a life-long love of wildlife and nature- (except for snakes!) She moved to Neenah, Wisconsin before embarking on the nomadic life of a military dependent.
Sharon relished the opportunities and experiences that are part of being a military spouse. She drew great joy from taking her family to explore throughout Germany and Europe while she lived there. Her photo albums are filled with shots from her ubiquitous disposable cameras of castles, ruins, festivals, hikes, and countless other happy memories. She faithfully donated to several Catholic charities throughout her life and was happiest with family and pets.
She is survived by her husband, John Krablean, her children, Timothy (Angela) and Michael (Jackie), her grandchildren, Aidan, Caitlin, Ava, Jared, Abigail, Jacob, Madelyn, and Andrew. She is further survived by one sister, Mary (Bob) Stone of Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 11:00 AM at Chapel of Memories in Colorado Springs, CO.
