We were so saddened to hear of Scott’s passing.  We were stationed together at Hahn Air Base in Germany when Scott was born.  We spent some wonderful times at each others’ homes. Our sincerest condolences to Carmen, Jerry, and the entire family.  May he rest in peace.

I'm Scott's sister-in-law, Amber. I've lost grandparents, friends, and a dear uncle and my father a couple months apart just this past year. But, none of that hurt as much as this does. I know many other people are feeling the same way (hundreds of people showed up for his funeral; it goes to show that we never know how many lives we really touch). I wish I had said, or done, something that might have made a difference. So I want to share this here for anyone who needs it. If you are having trouble dealing with Scott's death, or anything else, I urge you to seek help. A few of us already have. ...That said, I want to share how much I will cherish the memory of Scott's beautiful smile. He was always ready to flash his big beautiful, sometimes quirky, grin for the camera. And he loved to play. He played with my children when they were young, and sometimes even as adults. He was a good man. I admire him. And something I didn't realize until he died, I love him. He was my brother. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. Words can't possibly express the sorrow I feel at his passing, and the pain I feel for​ Autumn, Genevieve, Rowan, and all those who are suffering from his passing. May God's light and love shine upon you and within you, and may you find peace and healing. 
At his funeral my mother talked about how Scott loved to practice random acts of kindness, some big and some small; and his other sister-in-law inspired us to pay it forward in honor of his memory. Thank you Mom. Thank you Melanie. What a beautiful way to express gratitude for Scott's life and also to find peace and healing. I will pay it forward...for the rest of my life; and I hope everyone reading this is inspired to do so too.

My sister  Gloria and I used to babysit and play with the boys.  The Morrison's were our neighbors for many years.

Scott had the sweetest smile, a genuine laugh and a lisp that was loved. The many hour of Lego play is fondly remembered. 

Carmen and Gerry had bikes with child seats. Gloria and I would ride all over the neighborhood  with the boys. Laughter, song, reciting the alphabet and numbers could be heard everywhere.

We also remember going over to the house and Carmen would have the stereo on dancing with David & Scott to "House of the rising sun."

Scott we loved and played with you like a little brother. We will always remember our Scott Put Cott!  Fly with the heavenly angels.

I was so saddened to hear of Scott’s passing.  His whole family will be in my prayers.  
I remember Scott and David and my 2 sons, Andy and Randy, going on bike rides and building ramps over which they would jump! Or maybe you could find them playing computer games.  The 4 boys had great fun together and as a mother of 2 of them, I am grateful for the memories.  

I am very saddened to hear of Scott's passing.  My brother and I have so many happy memories of hanging out with Scott and David when we were growing up in Stratton Meadows....  From backyard campouts to bike rides to lazy summer afternoons playing computer games.   My heart goes out to Carmen and Jerry especially right now.   The Morrisons were good friends to us during some dark times in our family.  'Sending prayers and acknowledgment of your grief during this difficult time.

Dear Autumn, the girls, Thomas, Aunt Carmen, Uncle Jerry, David, Melanie and the boys. 

I am beyond words to even express how sad the loss of Scott is to all of us and I am wishing you peace and comfort during this truly difficult time. I was very young when I met my cousin Scott but I do remember him always laughing and being funny. I remember when he used to visit in Canada and my dad would take them where he worked and we would play around the John Deere heavy machinery. I wish I would been older to know Scott even more as an adult but it just warms my heart to read all the lovely comments that people write about him I sure know he was a special guy with a good heart.
I will make it to Colorado to get to meet Autumn and his wonderful family.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of my cousin Scott. Even though I haven’t seen him in 20 plus years, I will always cherish the childhood memories I had of him.

I think my happiest memory of Autumn and Scott was at their wedding. When it came time to kiss the bride, with dramatic flourish, Scott dipped his bride, then gave her a passionate kiss.  We were all so happy to celebrate their long-standing love. And even though, Scott has slipped the bonds of earth and and reached up to touch the sky, those of us here below keep our love burning bright for this sweet, caring man. He loved his girls passionately.  Autumn, Evie, and Rowen will miss him forever.  Me too.

My memories of Scott  include family  gatherings, amazing Lego skills, and a definite mischievous streak. 

The Morrison family has always been and always will be present in my thoughts.

My dearest memories of my nephew Scott were during his childhood years. His love of learning and shaping  legos into fine creations were always masterpieces.

My heart breaks for you Autumn, the girls, Thomas, Tante Carmen, Uncle Jerry, David, Melanie and the boys.  I hadn't see Scott in many years, but to me he was still close family; my little mischevious cousin with that crooked, guilty smirk.  My deepest regret now is not making it back to Colorado sooner, I would have loved to spend more time with him, get to know him better as a man and know his children.  Although I'm too late, for my dear Scotty, I will make sure I get to see Autumn again and meet his children as well as see the rest of the family.

Dear Autumn and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  There are no words to ease the pain but please know, you are in my thoughts and prayers. 

Back in the 80s, we would often get to spend time with our cousins Scott and David during summer holidays, but then for about 30 years, we lost contact. Fast forward to 2016, I was traveling to Denver for work and that's when I finally got to meet Scott again. He and his family were so welcoming and generous. Though 30 years had passed, it felt like only months had gone by. We we're both much taller, but still passionate about the same things (anything noisy that smells gasoline).

The main event was to ride our motorcycles up Pikes Peak. Unfortunately at about 1000ft from the summit, they turned us around because of a blizzard. I was so disappointed that after all that planning and traveling, I still couldn't check that off my bucket list. Scott was obviously disappointed for me,  but suggested that I convince my brother Chris to come along next time. Fast forward 2 years later, Chris is onboard with the project, and sure enough he gets to reunite as well this time. Scott was just as excited showing us the awesome mountain roads and trails, as we were discovering them. It was really like in the good old days though this time with (somewhat) more wisdom and maturity. The planets aligned, the weather was absolutely perfect, Scott, Autumn, Chris and I finally got up to the summit, on my birthday! Best birthday ever and will be for ever grateful for that opportunity.

Scott was a gentle giant with a heart of gold who left us way too soon. You will be truly missed.
