Ruth P. Whiteside passed away on March 26, 2014 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on June 27, 1918 in Berthoud, Colorado. She was a much loved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband and two older brothers. She is survived by her two daughters, grandchildren, nephews and niece. During her life, Ruth taught music, foreign languages and the deaf. In addition, she was an active leader in her church. She touched the lives of many people through her wisdom, guidance and love. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2400 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80222. Internment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, CO.
