Rebecca Becca D. Smith

Rebecca D. Smith, loving mother and daughter passed away on 1 December 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born January 8th 1982 at Ramstein Air Force Base, Landstuhl, Germany joining her brother J. Harley and parents John and Denise Smith.

An proud Air Force “brat” Rebecca enjoyed living in Iceland as well as Germany and the states of Michigan and California before finally being able to settle in Falcon, Colorado with her mother and the horses she loved. She enjoyed participating in 4H during Middle and High School with goats and horses. Rebecca graduated from Falcon High School in 2000.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving children Cheyenne Cancil, Trent Smith and Lucian Vicknair; her Mother Denise Smith of Falcon, Colorado; Father John Smith of Eagle River, Alaska; brother J. Harley Smith of Roy, Utah; Grandparents Darlene and Joseph Gall of McMinnville, Oregon; multiple Aunts, Uncles and cousins in Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Montana.

Friends and family were very important to Rebecca and in addition to family she leaves behind the many friends that will miss her light in their lives.

A memorial service will take place Friday, December 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., at Mountain View Mortuary; 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Care and Share of Southern Colorado, Christmas Unlimited or the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
