I'd like to thank all of those who support our family in our time of grief. It warms our heart to know Dad was loved by others as much as we loved him.

I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing.  I so admired his love of life. Always made me smile to see he and Mary Ann walking up the street. 

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What sweet memories I have growing up with Pete.  He is a long time friend of the family and will be sorely missed.  I have known Pete and his family my entire life. 
Thank you for first knowing my "dad", and always being a part of our family.  We will miss you.

Pete was a great man.  I spent many, many days at the Schubert home with Jeff through most of high school.  I can remember playing cards with Pete.  You could never get anything over on him, he was always one step ahead of us.  I always felt most welcome.  May you, as a family, find comfort and peace as you grieve this loss.

Remembering the Schubert's' in our thoughts and prayers

I cherish all the great memories of my childhood and the time spent with Pete whom I called Pierre.  Pete took Tom and I on many great adventures!  I recall the many fishing trips we made to Trout Haven.  The great fishing, hunting for worms, and stories by the camp fires!  I remember the mountain drives he took us on.  He'd let us ride in the back of his old Datsun pickup, throwing apples, dirt clods, and whatever else happened to be in the back with us.  He let us enjoy being boys and doing what boys do.. most of all having great fun!!!!  Pierre was all about having fun with us and making sure we were having a good time!!  Smiling and laughing with us (or at us) all the way!!!  Wow, the time he took us to Nichols Reservoir and we caught so many trout at the water inlet that we didn't know what to do with them.  Pierre knew all the best spots to fish and taught us how to do it well.  
I want to thank all the Schubert's, especially Thomas, David, Jeffery and Richard for sharing your Dad with me.  He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  God Bless You, protect you, and comfort you during this most difficult time.
