I was asked to come up with some words which is something that is really difficult for me. The deep sense of loss is so overwhelming for me.
For several years Peggy lived with her grandmother Nellie. Her parents were working in harvesting as quite a few did during the Depression. My own grandfather did the same until WW2 which also gave us a connection. During this time Raymond lived with his father, Raymond Hanson.
Peggy worked for many years doing camera work, bookbinding, and other tasks for Nolan's Printing in Yreka, CA. We had a lot of conversations, myself from an author's standpoint. It gave us an additional connection as I took care of her during her final years.
One of her CNA's, Kathy, was planning on having a birthday celebration here at the house. Their birthdays were one day apart.
Her two children are Susan Hanson, who lives in Colorado Springs, CO, and Raymond Hanson, who lives in Wichita, KS.
