Pamela was born on December 31, 1962, daughter of Alice M. (Wallin) Ferranti and the late Rocco G. Ferranti of West Warwick, RI. Pamela proudly served 11 years in the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. While stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, she met her husband Juan M. Lujan. Together, they lived outside Washington, D.C., and in Limestone, Maine, where they had two children, Megan R. Lujan and Adam J. Lujan. Since 1994, Pamela and her family called Colorado Springs, CO home.
At the time of her passing, Pamela worked as a Project Manager for DXC Technology, where she utilized her decades of outstanding, technical experience in communications.
Outside of work, Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family and two dogs, Roxy and Dash. She was an avid puzzle solver – a testament to her quick thinking and organizational prowess. She scaled Pikes Peak, clocked hundreds of miles hiking, completed multiple half-marathons, road tripped several times across the country, and traveled all over Europe. She was a lifelong New England sports fan and passed on her avid love of great storytelling to her children. She faced everything with incredible strength; her legacy will be her infinite loyalty, bravery, and love.
Pamela is survived by her husband Juan M. Lujan and her daughter Megan R. Lujan, both of Colorado Springs, CO; her son Adam J. Lujan, of Los Angeles, CA; her mother Alice M. (Wallin) Ferranti, her siblings Charlene P. Ferranti and James G. Ferranti (Mai), all of West Warwick, RI; her nephews Andrew Morry (Kala) of Gales Ferry, CT, and Jefferey Ferranti of Cranston, RI; and her great-niece Evangeline Morry.
A graveside service is scheduled to be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on February 7, 2022 at noon.
