Mauri Rochelle Love

Mauri Love passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Monument, Colorado. She was born March 14, 1969, to Dennis and Deanna (Mahr) Brady in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she grew up. She graduated from Coronado High School in 1988 and attended Colorado State University and the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. On June 17, 1995, she married the love of her life Michael Love at the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel.

Mauri was a wonderful daughter, wife and mother. She provided a loving, supportive and beautiful home for her family in various locations as they traveled with the Air Force. Mauri’s greatest passion was her family. She was often referred to as a Mama Bear by family and friends because of her devotion to her children’s well-being. Mauri was an avid collector and always loved having pets as companions. Following their Air Force retirement Mauri was thrilled for the family to return to her beloved Colorado.

Mauri is survived by her mother Deanna (Mahr) Brady of Colorado Springs, husband Michael Love of Monument, CO, her three amazing children: sons Broderick Love of Colorado Springs, CO and Braden Love of Monument, CO and daughter Brenna, of Monument, CO, brother Mark Brady of Solana Beach, CA, sister Mendi Schubert of Lawrenceville, GA, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family members.

Mauri was preceded in death by her father Dennis Brady and her Grandparents: Grandfather Robert Brady, Grandmother Arlene Brady, Grandfather Clare Mahr, and Grandmother Violet Mahr.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors in Colorado Springs. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00am at the United States Air Force Community Chapel. Burial to follow at the United States Air Force Academy Cemetery.
