He slipped the surly bonds of Earth on June, 15, 2022, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the wonderful staff at Memorial Hospital.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Timothy & James; sisters, Sylvia, Madeline, and Carol JOY and her husband Gail; niece, Deborah; nephews Tom Mix & Brad Fuchs.
Mark is survived by brothers, caregiver Paul, Ti, Steven; sister, Eunice; nephew, Anthony Robinson and caregiver-niece Rebecca and her husband Bill Townley, and niece, Elizabeth Ballard and her fiancée Jared Hansen & nephew, Kevin Ballard. He is also survived by countless nieces & nephews throughout the U.S.
After his service in the US Army, Mark worked as a pawnbroker at Ace Loans for many years and was very close to the owners, the Wilcox family. Mark was medically retired from the Army as he was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam where he was deployed for 2 tours of duty. As a result, he had many health issues over the years. Mark attended New Life Church and loved the many minsters messages and was blessed every Sunday. He is now in Heaven, rejoicing with his Lord and Savior and his family who arrived there before him.
A visitation will be held at Chapel of Memories from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
