He was born December 28, 1933 in Delta, Utah, to Alvey Clark McCullough and Bessie Dee Manning McCullough. While quite young he moved with his family to Farmington Utah, where he grew up on Sheppard Lane. He graduated from Davis High school in 1953. After graduation he married Jean G. Richman. They had three children Stacey, Terri, and Clark.
Lynn worked for Clover Club foods in Kaysville Utah and Colorado Springs Colorado for many years. Later he also worked for a Colorado Springs School District, owned a horse boarding business and small farm.
After moving to Colorado Springs, Lynn married Patricia (Patty) Pohlson. Lynn helped raise Patty's three children Kendra, Michael and Lonnie and grandson Delano Pohlson.
Lynn enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing in the great outdoors of Utah and Colorado. He was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles holding the office of president for some years.
He is survived by five children Stacey (Paul) Blank, Kendra Posen, Terri (Martin) Canchola, Clark (Cindee) McCullough, Lonnie Gustin, along with 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and sisters Kay Christensen and Andrea Perkins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pat McCullough her son Micheal Pohlson, his parents, step-mother Lucy Rigby McCullough, sister Bonnie McCullough Morton, Sherel Joy McCullough Larson, four brothers-in-law, Waynard Morton, Robert Christensen and John Perkins, and Lowell Larson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Mill Shadow Ward Chapel, 200 North 1275 West, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home on December 31, 2018.
