Esther Mae Wilbanks, born on March 14, 1942, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, at the age of 82. A long-time resident of Cheyenne Village and participant at Goodwill Voyagers, Esther was known for her unwavering faith and dedication to her church, Calvary Worship Center.
Esther found great joy in attending church services, reading her Bible, and embarking on trips for Missouri and Disneyland. Her love for art was evident in the may projects she completed, each one a testament to her creativity and passion. Esther’s generosity was boundless, and she consistently gave to her church, reflecting her deep commitment to her faith and community.
Though she leaves behind no living family, Esther’s memory will be cherished by her friends, her beloved Host Home Family, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and artistic spirit.
Services will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3825 Airport Rd Colorado Springs, CO 80910 on Friday December 20, 2024. Viewing service will begin at 10:00 am and Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
