So sorry for your family’s loss.  The Bellmore family has fond memories of the times spent with Christensen’s at Greenwood Resort on Ottertail Lake.  Thinking of you all and sending our love.

Just heard.  Please accept my sincere condolences.  dean was great.  Enjoyed working with him at Diver's Reef and the get togethers.  He'll be missed.

So very sorry to hear of Dean’s passing.  Grew up in the same neighborhood.  Sympathy to all of Dean’s family.  May he rest in peace. 

Condolences to Dean’s family.  I’m another old friend from Breckenridge and college days.   He was so talented and such a good guy.   

I haven’t seen Dean much since those days, but it was always pretty clear he would go on to lead a successful and great life.  RIP Dean

Fran and family I am so sorry for your loss. 

I worked with Dean many years ago when he was auditing for FHA. He was the very best auditor I have ever known. He was so down to earth and would listen before action. 

When we merged with your company at peoples I was pleasantly surprised to see you and begin working with you. 

You were the BEST. You are a HUGE loss to me. 

If you haven’t already I am sure you will find a wonderful life in paradise. 



Fran, my hear is just broken for you and your family.  Dean has always been my constant, my teacher, my mentor, my reconciliation buddy, my problem solver, my FRIEND!  I was so blessed to have work with Dean for over 38 years when he was the external auditor for Intermountain Mortgage and Peoples .  We worked side by side through those audits and then I was so fortunate to have him become my boss.  Dean taught me so much over the years that I can't even imagine doing what I do without Dean in my corner.  

Dean, rest in peace my freind.  I will miss you so.

Dean was a great guy. Lost touch after graduation but I sure have good HS memories of Dean. So sorry for his loss! 

I remember the respect I had for Dean way back when I first joined El Paso County bank in 1985 and that respect never waned over the years I had the pleasure and honor to work with and learn from Dean. He was very loyal to the Winter family and always was right there when there were issues to tackle or opportunities to pursue. My father-in-law relied very heavily early on in building the bank in Colorado on what he called "the Swedes," first as the CPA firm run by Dean and his two partners and later as our CFO.

On a personal note, I have so many memories of Dean, from him teaching me and my son, Colin, how to scuba diving and then diving with us in Mexico to sitting in his office listening to how proud he was of his daughter and his grandchildren. And of course talking to Dean and his wife Fran at bank gatherings and those funny presentations he would put together to liven up our boring bank meetings.

Besides being loyal, Dean was always honest and straight shooting, and all of us at the bank could always depend on Dean, whatever the situation.

Rest in Peace, my Danish brother, you will be missed. Steve Stingley

Many times, you were the first one here and the last to leave.
That was reassuring….Dean’s here.  Whew, things are going to be okay in these crazy banking/mortgage times.
And part of it was walking from around the corner or the kitchen or printer and having that line of sight to your office……..There’s Dean, all is well.
If they can retire a sports jersey, can’t an office be retired too?

You were always so helpful. I’m glad that the few times you needed something from me for your work, that I was able to get it for you. Your door was always open with you willing to help or provide things to make our jobs easier when we were struggling.

I hope you’re finding some prime real estate in heaven with sunsets and sunrises that we can’t imagine here where you’ve left us.  I hope it’s warm and cozy for when Fran is drawn home to be with you and Jesus there.  I hope it’s on a beautiful spot with lake views and a majestic forest to share with your family and siblings in the future.  
And when it’s time in the Great, Wide, Much Distance Future, I hope it’s only one step away from where your other four special girls, who live in your heart will eventually come home to also and be near you once again.

I took you for granted.  
You were always supposed to be here with us.  
You are a greatly respected, intelligent, kind, sweet man.

Fran - I am so sorry you have lost Dean. He was a very special person. Both smart, even brilliant, and hard working. No matter the situation, Dean’s smile was always there to warm those around him. I know I will miss having Dean in this world!
