Cole Gavin Wilson, 29, of Brookeville, MD and formerly Colo Springs, CO, passed on November 12, 2023, at his parent’s home in the arms of his parents and brother after four years battling brain cancer.
Cole was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Colorado. He graduated from Grandview High School in Aurora, CO, served honorably in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst and completed his bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University Pueblo, entering the workforce as an IT Professional.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Cole. He loved hanging out with friends, discussing controversial topics, listening to music, enjoying sunrises/sunsets and good food. Those who knew Cole lost a wonderful soul who could light up a room, make you feel at ease in an instance and warm your heart with his smile. His personality was contagious.
He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his family and friends, and his wonderful sense of humor. He was funny, generous, loyal, and courageous mixed with a dash of stubbornness and a big heart.
Cole will be missed by his parents Tony and Melissa Westly, his brother Jake Wilson, his grandparents Donald and Julianne McCall and many great friends and family.
You are deeply loved Cole, and we are forever changed. Life is not the same without you.
