Barbara Jo Edwards

December 24, 1952 to Robert Loucks and Joan Forney and had 6 siblings. Brother Richard

Loucks( wife Margaret and daughter Kristen and son Bryan) , sister Gerri Loucks( deceased);

(daughter Heidi) ,Deborah Loucks( deceased) and step brothers Vincent (wife Jodi ), Michael

Wilson, and Scott Wilson.

Barbara graduated High School at Mitchell in Colorado Springs.

Barbara was married to Douglas Edwards on August 8,1983 in Pocatello , Idaho. Their 38 year

marriage was spent in Pocatello Idaho, Albuquerque , New Mexico, , Antonito Colorado , and

Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Their family consisted of son Shane Lee, ( children Tori Lee and son Alex Lee) Jennifer Abbotts,

and guardianship of niece Heidi Miller(son Devon Miller) Numerous nieces and nephews and 1

great grandchild.

Barbara had a career in bookkeeping and had a love of anything gardening, church, quilting,

and helping others.

Barbara never met a stranger and had a mischievous sense of humor that made everyone

smile. Barbara loved playing bridge with the girls of Bear Creek and going on women's Bible

retreats.

She had a special interest in Make-a-Wish foundation, St Jude, One Child, and Tunnel 2

Towers.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to the St Jude’s foundation.

A celebration of life for Barbara will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
