Amy Michelle Lawler

Amy was born on July 11, 1973 in Colorado Springs to Craig and Cheryl (McKinnon) Dobson. She grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Doherty High School.

Amy had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed everything in the outdoors, including motorcycle riding, camping, and boating. She loved God and kept a strong faith during her life. Above all, she loved her family, especially her “little love,” Haley.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Davis; her daughter, Haley; her parents, Craig and Cheryl Dobson; and brother, Chad D. Dobson, all of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by aunts and uncles: Scott and Rhonda Dobson of Colorado Springs; Connie Nelson of Divide, Colorado; Gerald and Diane Atkins of Roanoke, Virginia; Bill and Dottie McKinnon of Blacksburg, Virginia; and Steve and Tammy McKinnon of Abington, Virginia.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mountain View Mortuary.

Amy will be dearly missed. Her family would like to express their appreciation for the prayers, kind words, and compassion that have been shown to them during this time of loss.
