Alvin Is survived by his wife Mary Mitchell, three children Randy Mitchell(wife),Rickey Mitchell, Rhonda Kerst, six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was married for 63 years, a native of Colorado Springs. Alvin drove a petroleum truck for 40 years for the local farmers, ranchers and drove to Pikes Peak several times. When he retired Alvin and Mary moved to Walsenburg for 20 years. Alvin was known to be kind, gentle and loving. He enjoyed camping, hiking and lots of fishing with his family. There are so many things that could be said about him. He always told his children and grandchildren to make memories. There are so many we cannot talk about them all. Alvin will be loved and missed always.
