Thomas Love

He was born in Colorado City on May 15, 1952 to Ed and Bessie Nolen Love.

T.C. was graduate of Colorado High Class of 1971, where he played Offensive Tackle and Defensive End for the Colorado Wolves football team. After graduating high school he joined the United States Air Force where he spent 2 years before coming back and helping his father with the plumbing business. After that he spent the majority of his life as a mechanic for Plains All American Pipeline, formerly known as the Texaco Pipeline Company until he retired after 41 years.

T.C. was a “Jack of all Trades”, whether it was wood or metal he could mold it, and he could fix almost anything. Aside from his mechanical skills T.C. had his journeyman plumbing license. He was the type of man who believed in hard work, going from sun-up to sun-down until he was no longer able to work. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, watching the Cowboys and the Rangers, and spending time with family, especially his granddaughter who was the light of his world. He also enjoyed spending time on his farm and raising cattle.

T.C. is survived by his son Zack Love and wife Andrea of San Antonio and their daughter Madi Rae Love, by his brothers Ronnie Love and wife Andrea of Snyder, Charles L. Love and wife Ruthie of Corpus Christi, and by sisters Tina Williamson and husband Billy Ray of Colorado City and Gay Ritchey and husband John of Colorado City.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Bessie Love.

A graveside service with military rites for T.C. will be held in the Colorado City Cemetery on Friday February 26th at 10 am with Pastor Brandon Denton officiating. The family will be present for a visitation on Thursday, February 25th from 6-8 at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
