Shana Jean Noble Bassinger was called home to the Lord on November 29, 2016. Her life was an example of grace and love for 72 years. She was born on January 25, 1944 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was loved by so many and loved so many. She loved to travel, read, and most of all attending her children’s many endeavors including their sports and school activities. She loved her church and the Lord. She always made family, friends, and new acquaintances feel welcome and loved. She loved being by the side of her strength and her rock, her husband Hubert. Later in life she found joy in birdwatching and gardening on a daily basis. Her legacy of love is an enduring model by which all of her family and friends will cherish. She led a joy filled life and never stopped laughing and loving.
Those left to cherish Shana’s memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Hubert; her daughter, Jana Bassinger Deloach; son, Raymond Bassinger and wife Shelley; her grandchildren, Seth Sanchez, Haley Deloach, Blake Deloach, Brice Bassinger, Beric Bassinger, Brec Bassinger; her brother, Reggie Noble and wife Roe; and one sister, Betty Starnes and husband Mac.
Shana is preceded in death by her father Raymond Gail Noble and her mother Rubilee Smith Noble.
Shana’s greatest legacy was being a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by those she loved.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado City under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
