Adam Salinas

Mr. Adam Salinas, age 84, of Loraine, died Monday night in an Abilene hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Salinas was born February 25, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Hermenogildo and Sara Escamilla Salinas and had been a resident of Loraine since 1975. He married Martha Sanchez on March 15, 1980 in Sweetwater. He was a plumber and a catholic.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Salinas of Loraine, three sons: Ignacio Salinas, Adam Salinas, Jr and Tony Salinas, all of San Antonio; two daughters: Janie Salinas and Betty Salinas, both of San Antonio two brothers: Herman Salinas and Armando Salinas, both of Yoakum; one sister, Alicia Salinas of Yoakum; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by four brothers: Arthur Salinas and Andrew Salinas, Cruz Salinas and Carlos Luna; and two sisters, Olga Mendoza and Diana Salinas.

A rosary will be held at 7 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
