As Bob's second cousin, I have lovely memories of him and Olive, Shirley and Jack in my years growing up in N. Jersey. I lost touch with him following the death of my dad, Bill Bruce, in 2003. The two couples often got together with my parents, and whenever there was a family event for our branch of the family, they were there. Interested in us kids, warm and friendly,unassuming. I've always been proud they were part of my family. Bob was so handsome and Olive a treasure; she carted our elders to wherever they needed to go. Much love to my Scarborough cousins and to Shirley.

I worked for Bob for eleven years at the Paint Works.  Bob was one of the most humble men I have ever known.  He was also very generous and caring.  I fondly recall one morning when the two of us were sharing about our families.  I mentioned that the day was my wife's and my anniversary.  Bob insisted that he wanted me to take the rest of the day off to enjoy our special celebration.  Throughout my eleven years, Bob did many thoughtful things for a wide variety of people and causes.  He was a special person, and a wonderful role model.

Bob was a wonderful person, and he loved his family deeply.  Loved his boys Kevin and Randy, and always spoke of the grandchildren with pride and love.  Will truly be missed.

Bob and Olive were our neighbors for many, many years on Eldridge Ave. and their true friendship with the Mark family was never forgotten over the years.  I will always remember Bob and his "rock" dedication on Maple Lane.  A great, great man.

While I have not seen the Scarborough family for many years I will always have the fond memories of the times our families spent together sailing, or at their getaway in the Poconos. Both Bob and Olive were a special couple. My thoughts and prayers to Kevein and the rest of the family

Dear man he was. I would seee him often as I am a visiting nurse and had cared for his friend. I bought the famous Scarborough home he built on Frazier Ave in Collingswood I raised my family there. We would go around and around about that house ! What a great guy!

"Uncle Bob and Aunt Olive" played a major positive part in all of our lives for such a long time. He will be missed by so many both family and friends. He is in our thoughts and prayers.   Carol, Chet, Debbie, Richard and families.

I have long fancied myself the ad hoc historian of Cherry Hill and Mr. Scarborough had always been gracious to give me his views of the town he helped make.  I wish condolences to the his family.  He really had a full and productive life, which is all we can ask of ourselves.

We learned of Bob's death this morning thru friends.  He had such a major influence on Steve's life and was such a good friend of the family.  We have great memories of visits with him and Olive over the years.  He will be truly missed.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
