Barbara Ryan

Barbara Lois Ryan Née Campbell, age 79 of Mt. Laurel, NJ passed away in her sleep unexpectedly on January 12, 2022. Barbara is survived by her husband Daniel Ryan, her three children from her first marriage with Howard Schaevitz - Harold, Annette, and Tema, grandchildren David, Damian, Nicholas, Victoria, Avery, Wynter, and Eva.

Barbara was born on November 19th, 1942 and raised in Collingswood, NJ with her two brothers and 4 sisters. Growing up, she loved spending summers with her family at their beach home at 57th Street in Ocean City, NJ, along with children, siblings, and many nieces and nephews in tow. She spent much of her working career as an office manager and later took great pride in getting a Master Gardener certification and owned and operated Stone Hedge Garden Center in Mt. Laurel. After that she moved to, and, loved living in Mystic Island NJ with three of her four sisters living on the same street.

she was an avid animal advocate and rescuer caring for cats, dogs, birds, hermit crabs, and a skunk over the years. There was not a stray she wouldn’t take in, be it animal or human. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
