Robert C Oelke Sr.

Robert C. Oelke Sr., 88, of Germantown, Tennessee, died, 13, May 2011. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving with distinction as a Paratrooper in the European Theatre in WWII. He founded and operated Brookside Farms Nursery in Germantown TN, for 14 years. He served as alderman for the City of Germantown for 4 years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church in Collierville, TN; Internment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville. He is survived by his four children, Robert C. Oelke Jr. of Collierville, Vicki Smahay of Tampa Bay FL, Roger S. Oelke of Collierville, TN. and Patti L. Cantu of Germantown, TN; grandchildren, Bobby Oelke III, Michael Oelke, Jerry Smahay, Samantha Muth, Conner Smahay, Ashley Chism, Steven Oelke, Carlos H. Cantu III, Patrick L. Cantu, Daniella L.
