Peggy Stephenson Brown, 71, of Memphis, passed from this life Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her home. Ms. Brown was born October 26, 1944 in Memphis to the late William Vernon and Mary Elec Brown Stephenson and was raised in Shelby, MS. She was retired as a Research Pathologist Associate with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and had worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital as well. She played and coached soccer for a number of years, was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and loved her family deeply. Ms. Brown is survived by two sons; Barron and Nick Brown, a grandson; Maddux Michael Brown, and a sister; Julia Stephenson Ormiston. The family will receive friends with a reception from 6pm – 8pm, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Collierville Funeral Home.
