On June 22, 1996, he married his high school sweetheart, Heather. They went on to have three children; Brayden, Greyson, and Kylie.
Kenny was preceded in death by his sister Debra Jean Stovall. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Kenneth W. Stovall and Barbara Houston Stovall, his wife, Heather Johnson Stovall, and children Brayden Stovall, Greyson Stovall, Kylie Stovall and his sister Angie Taylor (Kevin).
Kenny will be remembered as a man who was full of life and loved everything he did to the fullest. Kenny met Heather when he was 17 and their love grew stronger every day. His love for her was matched by the love he had for each of his children. He would have done anything for them, and they all knew it.
Kenny started working at the Collierville Fire Department as a volunteer when he was 18. He was hired as a full-time employee when he turned 21. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Fire Science. He quickly climbed the ranks of the fire department and was a Lieutenant for most of his career.
Kenny was outgoing and a man of many words. When people met him, they immediately liked him and wanted to be around him. This held true throughout his life. He loved to laugh and joke and was a bit of a prankster. These jokes and pranks were shared with friends and family alike. Any story told about Kenny ends with everyone laughing.
Kenny loved camping, going to the beach and hunting, especially duck hunting. He also loved the University of Tennessee and was a sports enthusiast. He tried to go to as many Tennessee football games as possible and attended the SEC baseball tournament every year.
Most importantly, Kenny loved God, and he made sure to let everyone know how strong his faith was. He let people around him know that he was praying for them, that he knew God was listening to his prayers, and shared his faith with others daily. He wanted everyone else to feel the love and ___ that he did in his faith.
