John Lee Schranz, 81, passed away May 18, 2024. Mr. Schranz was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a hard worker who owned and operated his own trucking company. In later years he purchased a farm in Arkansas to enjoy. He was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crawfordsville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mildred Schranz and his brother, Steve Schranz.
He is survived by his loving friend, Gayle Archbold; sister, Marilyn Carley; two nieces, Stephanie Johnson and Melanie Gniewek; nephew, James Schranz; step-daughters, Jennifer Hodge and Sarah Snyder and step-son, Don Archbald.
The family will receive friends on Thursday May 23, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, Tennessee. Interment services will be held Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri at 11 am.
