John Darrell Carroll

John Darrell Carroll 78, of Memphis, passed away May 19, 2024. John is survived by his wife Kathy of 42 years, sons Chad and Kevin (Lauren) ; and grandchildren, Ryleigh, Isaiah, and Hallie. Brothers Tom Carroll (Lona), Jerry Carroll (Denise), and sister Becky Briggs (Byron). John loved his children and grandchildren very much. Aside from his children and grandchildren, John loved all sports. Being from Louisiana, his favorite college team was the LSU Tigers .He also enjoyed playing and watching golf tournaments. John served in the Air Force from 1963-1967. He was a police officer with the Memphis Police Department for 26 years and retired as a Lieutenant.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24 at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Rd., from 5 p.m.- 6:30 p.m., with the service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Thursday May 30, 2024 at 10 a.m.
