Bobbie Jean Hall, 88 of Piperton, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, surrounded by her family. She was born August 20, 1934 in Calhoun City, Mississippi to John Robert and Nillie Tuberville. Following graduation from Crowder High School in 1952, she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she met and married Matthew Dee Hall, and they relocated to Burnsville, Mississippi. She worked alongside her husband on their farm while raising a family of five. She also worked as a Quality Control Supervision for Benchmark Manufacturing, Assistant Librarian for the North East Mississippi Regional Library, and Election Commission Poll Worker in Mississippi and Tennessee. Following her retirement they relocated to Collierville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hall was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Collierville, where she could express her hearts feelings. She relished the time she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, and traveling.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Matthew Hall; four sisters, Ora Bennett, Jewell Tuberville, Polly Blaylock, Eva Davis and three brothers, Richard, James, Wilford Tuberville.
She is survived by one brother John R. Tuberville, Jr.; two daughters, Patsy H. McMeans of Killen Alabama, Dionne Breazeale (Kevin) of Florence Alabama, three sons Terry Hall (Sahar) of St. Clair, Michigan, Martin Hall of Jackson, Tennessee, Tony Hall of Collierville, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, Natasha Myers and Spencer Hall of Mobile, Alabama, Tyson McMeans of Florence, Alabama, Charles Hall of Woodland, Michigan and Diana Kalisz of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Adam Hall of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Alex Hall of St. Clair, Michigan, Kade, Alexis, and Brynn Breazeale of Florence, Alabama, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday September 19, 2022 in the T. Carl Rutledge Memorial Chapel of Collierville Funeral Home, and 2 p.m. committal service at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
